camuman - I have texted Mase to see if my table is correct... He thought it was corrected, but was going to double check.

It should be Mase is aware of this for a long time already.

yeah, he def woulda changed it. well, i supose the big thing to ask, does teh temp rise to 210 and stay there? or does it drop back down to 190-200, then rise again, ,then drop. and does it stay at 210 while driving on the highway?

mase logs the car while he dynos it, he would see the temps rising if the tune was too hot. maybe your car just runs a tad hotter in stop and go traffic, but that would assume your temps cycle up and down between a 10-20 degree range.

if i am sitting still, with fans set to normal program, IE not on all the time like i have them now, my car will heat up, rise to 204, then fan kicks on and temps drop down to say 190, then fan kicks off, temps rise to about 204, then again and again. even in stop and go traffic it would do this. thats normal. maybe yours is 196 to 210 range, i wouldnt worry.

so big question is, do the temps cycle up and down or rise and hold?

They definitely cycle up and down...

They hit 210 leaving the neighborhood today (about 3-4 minutes at 20mph due to speed humps). Once moving, they lowered to 195ish. Then, a bit further into the drive, they normalized in the 181-195 area (about a 5 mile trip to pick up the wife's car at the local Honda dealer).

After parking for about 5 minutes, and running in to pick up her car/pay Honda, it ran 181-203 on the way back to my house.

After about 10 minutes at my place (had to change an AC thermostat battery so the buyer of the home can clear his home inspection punch list), it hit 210 again while leaving the neighborhood. The temps then "normalized" again in the 181-200* range on the way back to my parent's house (where we are staying until we move to NYC, as my house is under contract).

Once back at their place, I killed the AC (did not want that fan running) and let it idle in the garage for about 5 minutes. Temps were 181-188 (fan switch seemed to be enough to keep them down).

Gonna leave the coolant system ALONE for a few days, and see if the numbers get any more out of whack...

If I see 220, I am gonna start to worry.

Dyno posted.

See my calibration is still off, but i go by my modrifry ECT which shows me @ 3-4 bars 190-205*. I have seen 220 one time and that was after a hard run on the interstate and then i went to taco bell and sat in the line for 20 minutes. My fan kicks on too late, but at speed I never see more than 200-205*.

Invest in some heat wrap my friend. Wrap the manifold, dp and get a turbo blanket. My temps never go over 190 stock termo and all. I also have my hood shimed up to vent.

My entire kit is ceramic coated... Surface temps never get above 500-600 on the pipes... Underhood temps are not a problem... I have also removed the rear weather stripping from the cowl to allow better ventilation...

My fuse box is about 3" from my header, and there is no sign of heat damage at all...

I also have stock thermostat... I have aftermarket radiator fans and radiator only...

It was tuned by a local guy, who claimed to know AEM. It baselined at 405rwhp on 14.5psi. The 522 number is high boost, the 450 number is the daily tune. AFRs are conservative too...
