no no, i insist, since it will destroy all other SC. I believe you have one of those "all others". you can run at 70% throttle, hows that sound

No, I think you are thinking of the BRP supercharger. That one was a pain to install you had to relocate all kinds of stuff, cut AC hoses. But it gave you low end grunt, if that's what you are looking for.
I think the JR rotex sits under/in front the header. not 100%. and it's priced over vortech & comptech so far.

I've been in Sideways' car and holy crap it's fast as all hell. Of course, he's done a whole lot of stuff to the car in addition to just a bolt on supercharger. The car is definately the product of a lot of labor and love. It runs great, but it's also the T trim Vortech SC, of which only a couple people in the country have. (right?).
I went for a ride in the rotrex car last week. It was running at 10psi, and the final tuning isn't finished yet, so the car wasn't safe to run past 7K rpm. Having been in both, I have to say the power is comparable. The torque curve seemed flat as hell, the car ran without a hiccup (up to 7K). Roll-on from part throttle was seemless. It was just a torque monster. I don't have the dyno charts memorized, but of course I saw it, and let's just say FLAT TORQUE, linear power, and yeah.. over 400 whp.
There's going to be 2 versions of this kit: a 5psi kit that will be CARB legal and goes for about $5500, and a 10psi kit that will NOT be street legal and goes for $6500 - on par with the other kits out there. Unfortunately the high boost kit won't be ready for the AP1 cars right away.
Oh yeah - and I dropped my car off with the guys right after I went for a ride. Since I have an AP1 and a stock clutch, only 5psi for me, and about 300-320 whp.
