When do you get it back?
since mine is the prototype for the Ap1 kits (the plumbing SHOULD fit, but they haven't actually hooked it up to know for sure, and then there's the whole tuning issue), they told me about 1-2 months. Given the speed things tend to happen with R&D usually, and how the holidays are coming up, I'm hoping to have the car back by mid Jan.

Mr Jackson was telling me that the ECU on the AP1 cars is non-flashable, so hondata doesn't have an answer for high boost right now via a flash like they will for the AP2 cars. They're working on several possibilities for engine management for high boost on AP1 cars, but all of them need stand-alone electronics, which adds about another thousand to the price at least.

For guys with AP1's and stand-alone engine management that you own already (like a Kpro or AEM unit), you'll be able to get the low boost kit with a CARB sticker, and then get a smaller pulley, bigger injectors, and then tune it yourself if you want. It should still pass a sniffer, though it won't technically be legal.

But the stock clutch won't hold the power of the high boost kit...
