Here is something we built a couple months ago. The most comfortable thing I have sat in. It replaced my Kirkey drag seat. Actually conforms to our backs, beings its rounded. The headrest piece is adjustable and you can place a structure of padding on it if wanted/needed. This one pictured with all the head restraints is more for our sprint car customers. The drag race specific one doesn't have that stuff to an extent.

Kirkey drag seat = 12-13 lbs
Stohr Composites seat = 6-7 lbs

I know a lot of drag racers have aftermarket seats to accommodate for the 5 point harness so thought I would post it here. We actually may have it SFI approved if the market picks up. It's so much more fitting than an aluminum box seat
