Appreciate the comments. Although it may look uncomfortable with that center ridge, it's actually not. It doesn't extend the whole length where you are seated.

Yes there is. This particular one pictured is for a customer with a sprint car. The mold that is more for drag racing has a crotch strap slot and a bit less material around the rib cage and knee/thigh areas.
