Default new tial 50mm or the synchronic bov?

dunno if u guys have seen the new tial 50mm, its very similar looking to the old one but flows twice as much, I have the old on now but wanna get rid of it bc multiple people have had compressor surge with it. I'm pretty sure I am going to go with the synchronic bc my buddy has it and loves it. also foxer has it now and it killed his surge. let me know what u guys think, thanks

I have a synchronic bov, but still haven't got it working correctly yet. Waiting on a replacement bov to see if that fixes the problem, we'll see.

Basically it flutters first then dumps, so essentially surge. After talking with the owner, they think its because my bov is on the compressor side of my intercooler piping (not the TB side) so I should have a less strong spring installed. I'm waiting on the new spring to see if it helps.

And yes its installed correctly

Hi Spec mine seems to do the same thing? Or maybe its just my ears. It seems to be going pshh pshhhh and not one long pshhhh. I haven't hooked up the line to the boost only source. I'm going to wait to get it tuned (sat) and take it over to Synapse (right by my house) and see what they think.

I just purchased a Synapse Bov the other day after some good feed back from my buddy at the shop who has one on his 240SX. He said it help cut down compressor surge and keeps his car from stumbling as much as it used too.

Thats basically what mine does.

It will surge about 2 times, "pfff pfff" then open and make the proper "whosh" noise. Mine, however, has all 3 lines properly hooked up and I checked them with one of my pressure gauges so I know the lines are plumbed correctly.

Let me know what they say (I'm still waiting on my new bov with hopefully a lighter spring).

i think the syncronic bov is kinda worthless....its just another bov...nothing special in my mind.
