why do you run such low boost in the lower gears? do you really have a problem with traction in 2nd at 360hp? first i can see but i dont see how you could have traction issues in 2nd with it.

I've been recommended never to use the 2-step unless I had an aftermarket valvetrain as it puts too much stress on the springs, causing them to crack and eventually fail (dropping the valve). Apparently it has happened before, and personally I rather not have it happen again (and this time to me)

Also I don't even think anti lag would work on a SCed car? The 2-step function holds the engine at a defined rpm while dumping fuel into it but killing the spark. SCs are directly dependent on engine RPM so it would seem pointless to me?
Anti lag does not work on sc cars thats why in my second sentence I said it doesnt matter to me because I am sc. I dont understand why anti lag would hurt our valvetrain if anyone has some info on this id be happy to hear it and sorry for the thread jack.

How does your car know when your in 2nd or third, can the aem tell that? Why don't you do a 10psi high and 13psi race tune? Anyway good number I am glad you enjoy the car and got the bugs worked out.

AEM EMS uses VSS so its really speed based not "gear" per say.

Ah my bad. You can send a PM to inlinepro as I know they've had engine failure with 2-step on stock valve train before.

I love my two step You will be fine @ lower RPM but I would only use that on special occasion.

Mine is @ 3500 RPM. At the track, around 5 psi works great off the line with my street tires. On the street, same RPM but around 0 psi. Ideal level of boost will depend on your setup, tires, and road condition. You just have to play with it to find out.

As long as you keep the RPM and load (boost) low, everything should be fine. Enjoy!!
