New to the turbo scene
Awhile back I purchased an 08 that was wrecked up pretty good. I originally would have liked to fix it but its going to cost a pretty penny and I was wondering if the following could be done. My friend has a 99 civic thats flawless with 50K on it that he would sell me for 5grand. Is it possible for me to take the motor out of the car I have now and install it with a turbo on this 99 civic. What kind of boost and HP can be made on this S2000 motor without building it for turbo. I'm all new to this import stuff so you guys take it easy. I used to be a mustang guy but I've converted!!
You're looking at a very, very expensive project. The s2000 motor is RWD while the civic is FWD. You're looking at a few thousand in custom parts alone. Things like a durable driveshaft, rear axle, F-series transmission, etc.
I would just admit my error and go with the "fix it" option you originally went with. You're looking at less money.
