Default Nitrous Air/Fuel

I have a Dyno tune lean cut off switch connected to the stock narrow band. It recomends that you set it at .8v and im wondering if its safe to go lower than that. I ask because the switch is shutting me down. so it must be dipping below .8 ,not sure how far though.

I have found a post on a 350z forum that shows a list of volts converted to A/F. Would this list work for our cars as well?

To read afr from volts

Why not just buy a wideband.

Your engine is worth the 200 dollars for an Innovate LC-1.

Isnt it basically the same thing if you convert the volts?

NO. the resolution of a narrow band pales in comparison to the resolution of a wide band. 0-1v doing what a 0-5 volt should do = FAIL.

not too mention, most oem cars are going wide band. that should tell you something right there.

as said above, your motor is worth more then 200 dollars.

I bought a brand new AEM digital wideband on ebay for $179 shipped. Best deal by far I have found. I will see if I can find the seller again as he was a retailer for AEM he said.

Even if you were to use that voltage table, it wouldn't help you. Stock narrowband sensors are only accurate within a small window surrounding 14.7:1 AFR. They weren't designed to do otherwise.
