Jucided ran a 100 shot direct port with out a tune for awhile. The money you will end up spending on a good safe direct port system would probably be better put towards a supercharger though. I am just running a 75 wet shot and even got some things off ebay but I am setting around $1500 in expenses not including the price to fill the tank...

Calm down "Pro" just because i didnt know what the window switch was doesn't make me an amateur.... I ran it on my 99 gsr integra and the hondata ecu had the "window switch" built in. i even programed it myself to run a duel stage dry set up..... with the jrs it made 248 whp and on a 50 shot single stage it made 308 whp.... and considering that I was E.O.D in the Army im sure i can keep from "blowing myself up." Nitrous oxide isn't flammable it is only an oxidizer so if you didn't know the only thing that will blow is your motor...... with that being said the tank can rupture from being exposed to extreme temperature but if no flame is present no explosion can happen

Calm down "Brian Earl Spilner." He was making a reference to a line in "the fast and the furious."

use the SEARCH FUNCTION

Hey man theres not to many guys running nitrous on the forums here, well compared to the turbo and sc guys anyways...you can safely run up to a 75 shot stock ecu, I HIGHLY recommend getting a wide band sensor tho its a definite requirement of forced induction. If your looking to do 100 shots and up YOU MUST (for the safety side to it) get a direct port setup ( you should just do that anyways its makes better power ) and some sort of standalone ecu ( aem ems, haltech, flashpro ) and tune, no if's and's or but's about it

heres my info on my build including my 100 shot tune and 125 shot tune

https://www.s2ki.com/...h-22-ap2-motor/

some costs you might want to think about are...

Nitrous Setup - around $1500 for a good wet direct port setup ( I have Zex ) including a bottle warmer, 1-2 step colder spark plugs, purge kit, remote bottle opener ( highly suggest it ), and pressure gauge ( you WILL need this high or low shot ) and wide band sensor.

Standalone Ecu - a used one can be had ( Aem Ems for example ) for $800-$1000 some times cheaper

Tune - around $400-$500 ( retunes are cheaper next times )

Aftermarket Clutch - $600-$900 won't need this if your only spraying a 75 shot any higher you will need it, you could prob get away with a few high shots on stock clutch but not for long and it has a better chance of slipping because of all the torque nitrous gives.

Standalone Fuel System - $500... separate fuel cell, fuel lines for the nitrous, return style fpr, and fuel pump. If your going over a 75 shot.

Start with is a good nitrous direct port setup and all the extra's and 75 shot, anything higher buy everything else

Yes bluemetal has stock internals. This block is more than strong enough for nitrous, it could handle a 200 shot with the right fuel set up and tuning. My motor has 140k on it and i been using nitrous for 2 years already.
