Default No Spark with Aem

Okay I got the car ready to start it up but I can't get any spark when my Aem EMS is plugged in. When I plug in my stock Ecu I get spark.

Any suggestions on what settings need to be changed or looked at to fix this problem.
Thanks

Sounds like your ignition driver circuit is blown. IIRC this was a common problem with 1012s.

AEM are very good about repairs though. My fuel pump driver circuit blew and AEM repaired and returned it for $50.

Basically the car has been sitting for over a year and were trying to start her up on the new setup with my old base map.

I have a 1052U model #
We reloaded my original map the one I had before we made changes to it for the injectors and 3.5bar map sensor.

^^I will double check that it's setup for a 4cy. If not I will reload the base map from aem.

Man I hope the Aem is okay, Just another thing to fix.

any other possibilities?

check stat sync and battery voltage if your under i think like 11 volts the car wont stat sync. Also check your crank sensor.

the common cause for this issue is low battery.

I had a lot of problems similar to this and they drove me close to insanity at the time. I think I blew 1 of my Bosch fuel pump because of this.

The good new is that they were all fixed with a new battery or full recharge.

The AEM requires a lot of power compare to other ECU's. My other car has an ECU that only requires a minimum of 7 volts and the software will actually warn you prior to shut down.
