From what Ive gathered about the unit it doesn't seem to make much sense for an upgrade if you already have a N1000, would probably make more sense to get the 1220 if you don't have anything yet or maybe need a replacement do to damage or miles.

Will the 1200 bolt up the N1000 mounting plate?

What is the 1200's price?

N1220SL requires a different bracket than the N1000. That was one of the things slowing down the re-release. New benefit of using the 1220 over the 1000 is that no notching of the frame is required.

True about the 1220, but Gerdaland stated "throw a 1200 on there and call it a day."

Paxton does make a 1200. Does it bolt on the mounting plate? How much is it?

My bad, I took a second look and it says NOVI2000. I did not know they made a 2000. I thought the "I " in NOVI was a 1, LOL.

Will the 2000 bolt up? What is it's price?

Don't forget the 1220 is self lubricating. No more tapping the oil pan

Didn't have to tap it before, what did you think this was a Vortech? The fact that I can go back to using a magnetic drain plug vs an earl fitting is another nice feature but still just not quite worth shit canning my N1000 yet.
