Here's the latest update I got from Nate on the Novi1220 SL.

Michael,

This kit is nearing completion.
We have all of the prototype parts and are securing test vehicles.
After that....kits will be ready. The plate seen in the enclosed pic is a prototype and the final logo and lettering will be more substantial...just thought I'd send a teaser. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Thank you,

Great to hear! Looks like an upgrade that I'll be doing.

Anybody know the difference between the Novi 1200 and Novi 1220? I looked at Paxton's site but didn't see the difference.
The 1200 will flow more than the 1220 and will support more boost.

The question is, will it bolt up the same and will the power figures be justified for the cost?

Talking to Nate, the conversion should be fairly simple with the new unit possibly being self lubricating. As far as power, the Novi 1000 maxes out at 500hp. The Novi 1220 SL maxes out at 680hp. I think that will be a sustainably increase compared to the cost.

180 crank horsepower more??? thats quite a increase how many lbs of boost is it going to be able to produce over the novi 1000?

good question. Any changes in the power curve at the same boost levels between them?
