Default novi1200 500+ e85 500+hp16 psi + stock ignition coil work?

Hello
I'm trying setting up E85 OR E100 with novi1200 with 3" pulley 16 psi ~ 19 psi depend on pulley allow psi to make 500+ WHP

The car has good enough to support mod with used one step colder spark plug (stock engine internal)

what's the stock s2k ignition coil limit? Cuz I'm thinking to OKADA PROJECT PNP ignition coil but the coil set is expensive and I'm not sure if my setup really need or not

also do I need to gapped to use one step coler plug? stock gap was I believe 0.028 or near around 0.028

please give me some advise if anybody run similar setup

Coils won't be holding you back, belt slip will

Not sure if the OP is using a SOS kit, but to answer your question, another idler pulley is not needed to be standard. I'm at 13/14psi with the single idler pulley that came with the SOS kit and I'm not having any issues. In fact, I'm ordering a larger crank pulley from ASP in order to raise boost without the expense of belt slip

Shouldn't need the Okada coil packs. You will likely need to lower the spark gap a bit more or risk spark blow out. If your good at identifying it and not having the break up confuse you with some other issue, you can start at 28 and may get lucky, but will likely end up around 22-24 in my experience. But larger the better as long as you can get away with it.

It's not needed at all. I have been making 620whp on stock coils for years with out issue. You just have to lower the gap on the spark plugs or you will have spark blow out. Mine is set at like .020

I have CT S/C with Novi1200 upgraded and SOS heat exchanger setup
I have SOS 3" pulley with custom Machining groved on pulley like RR pulley so prabably slip won't occur. I only want know what people run ignition coil and if they use stock then what gapped used on their one step colder spark plug

Hello.

The info you have been given is all accurate... each person's setup will be slightly different depending on parts used as well as elevation, barometric pressure, temperature, etc...all things the same...as the boost level increases the gap will need to come down (unless spark energy is increased). I would suggest starting around 0.024" and going down as needed until a reliable spark is achieved...you should not need to go lower than 0.020" - 0.018". I am at around 17psi and I'm fine at 0.024"...as the weather gets colder and the air gets more dense you may need to decrease the gap in order to prevent spark blow out. I was tuned on 0.020" and since have moved up to 0.024". Once I go to E85 I will be moving to 0.022" to start.

When I had my old KW kit on about 10psi I was tuned at 0.032". It ran fine until the ambient temperature got below about 40deg F. I then dropped the gap to 0.026" and the problem went away.

All on NGK BKR8EIX and OEM ignition.

I hope this helps. Good luck Sir!

Stock coils, if they are old, replace them with brand new ones. Recommended to gap NGK2668 plugs as suggested by 06S2k07Si

For my e85 1200 500whp setup, there was a noticeable dyno power difference between .025 and .018 spark plug gap. With .025, my car was misfiring.
