Oh wow ? did you have to order the Novi 2000 blower from comptech or where did you order it from ? that thing looks huge! I wonder can you make it fit with the aftercooler.

Keep us update please

well, we hopped on the local dyno the other day to get an idea of what we are dealing with. 278whp, un-tuned, with the bov completely open at wide open throttle. i believe it hit about 9-10lbs. hope to get some real tuning this winter(aem, excel, etc.)

I was honestly hoping this wouldn't happen. When I originally contacted Shad over at Comptech to ask him about doing a NOVI 2000 he told me there was a shop in LA that gave this a try He said they were actually producing numbers less than what the NOVI 1000 with Aftercooler would do.

I'm hoping with the right tuning you can turn this setup into a beast!!! Good luck

I remember somebody posting (within past few months) that the S2k doesn't have enough innate grunt power to drive the NOVI 2000 nautilus; true or not, as Nugget stated, hopefully gerdaland can prove this wrong.

I could be wrong, but I believe it was me that stated that. I have done numerous hours of research over the phone the past few months regarding the NOVI 1000, 1200, 1500 & 2000 on the S2000. Speaking with both Paxton Techs, Paxton Sales & Comptech Tech.

One of the major concerns that was given by the Paxton Rep was that with the over-grown size & power of the NOVI 2000 it will actually push too much air for the engine to ingest at idle. He said that it would require an excellent tuner to make this work, along with a very high idle.

Gerdaland, please do prove everyone wrong though - I'd love to see an S2000 with a NOVI 2000 running strong!!!

the car is barely running, we just wanted to get an idea of what we had. personally, i thought that was amazing, once i figure out this scanner, i'm gonna post the dyno sheet. it looks like a kindergartner doodled on it. i wanna get good tuning and tighten up the bov. i see no problem hitting 350 wheel with this pulley. thats what the 1000 kit does all "done-up". this would be no after cooler and the option to put a smaller pulley on.
