Hi,

Does anyone have an NRG engine torque damper or similar style?, TBH i cant remember what sort of modification it would take, but one things for sure is it wont fit with the vtec housing mount with a comptech SC.

Does anyone use an NRG engine torque damper on the above setup or modified to fit?

I guess ETD's will be more useful when boosted?

Any pics?

I wanted to knowthe same thing last year. You technically could still mount it to the same spot ( would require driling another hole in the ETD bracket to adjust for the SC bracket) I didn't want to do this though since those bolts Into the block already have enough strain on them with the blower and already possible leaking issues

Curious to see what some people have done.

 

Why are you putting on a damper? There are plenty of people making of 300Ftlb of torque at the wheels, myself included, and have never had problems unless your motor mounts are worn out or broken.

You may want to concider getting new motor mounts if you are having issues.

 

I drilled a new hole in the bracket. Works.
