im wondering if anybody still or has used their OEM clutch when they were FI? and how long did it last? because i am in process of having my turbo install being completed in the next 1-2days and i was going to install my comp clutch w/flywheel when they were done to save on labor. but now i kinda of regret of not installing it 1st b4 my kit . any body have any tips/advice? thanks

 

yeah.......kick your self in the butt for not installing it first.....MOH HAHAHAHA.......................................... .....

Ok no seriously......your gonna have to take some of it off to get to it......then when you complete it.....kick yourself in the butt anyways!

 

I've noticed people with the AP1's have had the OEM clutch running longer then the AP2's.I had to replace mine 4k miles after S/C install.

 

when i was basic comptech, my clutch would slip at high rpms, only when i had been beating on it for a while... i can only imagine that over a few weeks would have ended it
