I've been considering where to install an oil cooler as well.

ALL turbo S2Ks should have one honestly. Have a look at oil temps in one and you'll see why. Especially track driven ones, then it's not an option even or shouldn't be.

Is anyone logging oil temps?

It's possible for them to get TOO cold and do damage, something I'm worried about now that I moved from SoCal back to Seattle.

Also, what about just upgrading the size of the stock unit? Anyone tried that? I see some ups and downs with it, blocking more flow being the down.

Also, Ptuning oil cooler kit is nearly $800 bucks?!?!?!? WTF!!!!

I can do a whole kit for about $100 bucks. Summit racing has everything you need. WTF is Ptuning doing to us? ....and can I get some Vaseline to go along with it

totally agree here thats why every oil cooler should have a thermostat in the system.

it takes almost 20 min for oil to get up to temp with the stock oil warmer/cooler cant imagine how long it would take with a cooler without a thermostat
