Default oil and filter

i am getting ready to install my inline pro turbo kit...i was just wondering what some of you guys are running as far as oil and filters go? like what brand of oil? weight? brand of filter? i was told to use synthetic 10W-40 for a turbo S...

Look for a non-energy conserving oil which is often advertised as Euro formula, personally I like MOBILE 0W-40 but Castrol and others make it. I also like Mobile's oil filters they are made by the same people that make K&N's and some others but at a lower price and they are readily available. If you have a Honda dealer near you the S2000 specific filter is very good.

OEM filter and 40wt. 50wt if the turbo's super hot. You need to pick a weight that's not going to turn into water at high temps and break down.

i got the regular inline pro kit...so you are saying that you use a 0w-40 or 0w-50? and not 10w-40 or 10w-50?

just made the switch from MOBIL 1 to AMSOIL 10w-30, as far as Filters go I have been using NAPA Gold ones, so far it hasnt any caused any failures

AMSOIL FTW
