i used the full race oil relocation kit with this set up
Full race uses the Canton... or it is exactly the same..
so pretty much part# 22-597 and 22-620 from summitracing.com is all i need?

yes, that 22-597 is the same block that I have, On mine cause my turbo houseing is so big, I did have to cut a chunk out of the block to get it to fit, but it is a solid piece so you can take a little out of it if need be..

Plus you will need the lines to run.. but you are good with that.

So with the part list listed above, I would have everything I would need to maintain the oem cooler with the relocation?

If you use the Ultimate Racing relocation kit, it also relocates the stock oil cooler.

This is what I had. It was perfect for my needs. If you are going to take off the factory water cooled oil cooler, then you have to get the civic oil filter adaptor. I actually say you need to remove the factory water cooled oil cooler that way you have more room and you can use an actual oil cooler.

My set up is actually for sale too:

I would like to keep the oil cooler. I just need to get the filter somewhere I can actually change the filter at.

That thing under the oil filter is actually and oil warmer. It uses the coolant temperature to bring the oil up to operating temperature.

I removed mine and fitted the threaded tube from a civic into the block. The Canton adaptor fits on to this and routes the oil via a cooler and filter.

It does both really, warms the oil up faster when everything is cold and then cools the oil under high loads when oil temps tend to be a good 20-30*c higher than the water.
