I ran without upgrading for a few k after I installed my SC. It is cheap insurance if you are going to drive the car hard on long stretches.
If your car is staying local, you should not have any problems.

All the F engines (and most all modern engines) have under piston squirters. The later AH years and all the Euros squirt more oil. The Euros due to the extended high speed freedom that we do not have and the later AH are from lessons learned.

I've had my supercharger for around 5k miles so far and no problems. Granted I had not read that this is a really good idea to do for a superchargered car otherwise I would have done it while I had the pan off to tap it Doh!. I think I might upgrade to them in a couple months then for peace of mind.
