Default Oil Jet Bolt 2-4 Conversion

I just read about this in UTH. It seems that the MY 00 and 01 have the 2 bolt and the newer models have the 4 bolt. The 4 bolt was a recall for the 00 and 01 in Europe, but not in the US.

Has anyone done this?

Discussion lies in this thread...

The gritty details of the install...

Just wanted to get opinions (and maybe pricing from someone )

I got this done shortly after I had the turbo installed on my car. After talking with cbender who also has the Speedcraft kit and the oil bolt upgrade I decided it was a must. Better safe than sorry. I bought the bolt kit from Hardtopguy, which includes the bolts and sealant for the oil pan. Then I took my car to Crown Honda (I was living in Durham at the time) and had them do the installation. They kept the car overnight so the sealant on the oil pan could cure (sp?) long enough.

I don't remember how much I paid, but I should still have my receipt. If I can find it I will send you that info.

I had it done at Ganley Honda. I've noticed anything different, but there is peace of mind knowing its done.
