Default Oil Return Hardware vs. Hose

Anyone have pictures of their actual return line with the fittings they used or even a breakdown? Im trying to figure out what is the best combination of hardware vs/hose because when you tap the block girdle there isnt much distance between the turbo and tap on the girdle and its an honest 90 degree turn.

By the time I put my 45degree earls anodized fitting and earls straight fitting on the other end I have about an inch and a half of hose to try and make up the rest of the bend resulting in kinking

Hopefully Soul Coughing can post pics of his setup.
He has a UR GEN II kit from them
And the Girdle is tapped with I believe a straight fitting, there is enough room for the hose to come straight out and angle.

While the topic is pretty much related, I like to ask a question if you do not mind:

I am currently using AN-10 size of hose and pipe to connect from the turbo to the oil pan. However, about 3 inches down from the turbo, the host touches the manifold of the BOV. It is severely hot.

My concern is the rubber may be melted due to the touch, even there is an aluminum wrap on the hose (like all the oil hose). So my question, how do you solve this touching issue or how do you wrap the host so it will not be melted?

Thanks in advance

I found -8 hardware that fits my need and follows through with a 1/2inch I.D. hose...Will these sizes work? I know its kind of bigger is always better situation but once i start using -10 barbed fittings i start running out of room pretty fast and then im back into the hose kinking issue.

I mean the -8 hardware looks considerably smaller than the -10 but when you take into account the size of your average feed line is the -10 overkill for a t3/t4 and will the -8 work?

Unfortunately, the plugs on both ends are AN-10 sizes. Also, previously I used smaller size and found out every morning my exhaust coughed some smokes. Since I upgraded to AN-10 the smokes were gone.

Will the exhaust wraps take care this heat transfer issue?

on my UR setup, its a straight shot down to the girdle! Its about 6-8 inches of tubing and i used mini t-bolt clamps on either end. I will try and get a pic of it tonight. The tubing i use is designed for 300-500 degree heat, and is 1/2" ID, .800" OD, .15" WALL tubing. I bought it from mcmaster for 8 dollars a foot. It has held up much better than the tubing i had bought from autozone etc..

I love to see it...
I am very concern if I am stuck on the traffic and suddenly the oil pressure drop.

By the way, the manifold of turbo can be as hot as 1200F, while the average is 800F.

So, the 300-500F may not help in the long run
