Default Oil return line leak

My Oil return line is starting to weep a little oil, after 2 track days in a week it's getting worse. Must be the hard use on the race track.

Anyone else have any leakage?

For the last year since I installed the SC there was a little oil residue, now there is enough to make a small spot on the garage floor.

It's hard to tell where it's leaking from, the AN fitting or from the drain plug fitting.

When I bought the kit used, there was not a return line so I made my own using Aeroquip fittings and hose. I was very careful assembling the hose.

I wonder if should replace the hose with the over priced pre-assembled one from Comptech.

I would recommend replacing your fabricated line with the original Comptech line. It may cost more but you'll have peace of mind.

That line is under load/pressure so I would recommend getting the one that was made for the kit before you damage anything else or worse the line disconnect or rupture.

I would disagree. There is no pressure in the return line and Comptech aren't renowned for making good lines (such as the weeping fuel line incident).

I would have just diassembled the line, checked for contamination or faults and reasssembled.
