Oil Temperature Too High
The car has an inlinepro stage 2 kit with GTX3582R turbo. The car is only boosting 10-11 psi. Since the manifold requires the relocation of the oil filter, we decided to use an HKS Oil Relocation Kit with an Earl's Oil Radiator. The cooler is located in the front side of the radiator with the front bumper cut letting the air right inside it.
The oil temp kept climbing over 220 F.
We thought maybe the Earl's Radiator was not enough so we swapped it with an HKS Oil Cooler Radiator with the same results?? The oil temp is climbing over 220 F even when we drive with 80 mph steady on the highway.
We are doing all the readings from a Defi Link Display. We thought it might be the sensor reading wrong so we changed the sensor but it didn't change anything. We thought it might be the HKS Thermostat so we by-passed it letting the oil directly into the cooler and ended up with no changed. We checked the return lines and are sure that the oil is traveling through the cooler.
A friend of ours have the exact same turbo setup with the same oil cooler kit and his max oil temp is at around 200 F max. (and he is boosting about 20psi)
What can be wrong? What should we be checking?? Here are some pictures of the Oil Relocation/Cooler Setup we have...

If it fits under your hood, you could see if the Baldwin 7042 filter would fit. It adds 1 qt. to your car so if you put 5 qts of oil on a oil change with this filter you would take 6 qts to fill. That 20% more oil so it should run cooler.

Thanks in advance.
Do you know that the PH3506 has NO oil by-pass built into it?
The S2000 engines oil filter should have a by-pass built into it so that the engine gets all the oil it needs when the oil is cold and thick. I don't think I'd run a filter that did not have a by-pass built into it on the street.

I'm sorry but I can't recommend a filter for you. But you can look at the Baldwin catalog to see if you find a filter meets your requirements.

So you guys are saying that 220 F is fine and we should not be worrying, right?
But how come our friend's car won't go over 200 F with the exact same setup? The only difference we have is that he has 9:1 CR and we have 10:1
