My bugatti veyron quad turbo runs around 230-240F all day long and it's fine. 220F is nothing and I wouldn't worry unless you see it get up to around 275F.
Again, you're missing the point. I don't care what your Veyron or twin turbo Carrera GT run. Hey, my AP1 S2000 revs to 9k rpms, so my Toyota Corolla should be able to do the same right? A car is a car in your comparison.

Again, Car #1 is the same as Car #2, same turbo setup, same oil cooler setup. Car #1 doesn't even get to 200F, Car #2 hits 220F just highway cruising. That should tell you something is wrong. So they have replaced the oil cooler, no result. Bypassed the thermostat, no result. So information we are missing is oil pressure and oil flow. Hopefully oil flow can be infered from oil pressure.

My hypothesis still stands, the elevated oil temps are due to reduced oil flow. So maybe the oil pickup screen got clogged. Maybe the oil filter is clogged. Maybe the oil pump is going out. I don't know. Knowing the oil pressure would be a good start.

I'm just goofing around at your expense.

You can't speak in certain terms though, we don't know the compression of the 2 motors being compared, higher compression could elevate oil temps, oil viscosity, coolant/water ratio, egt's in regards to tuning, differences in the sensors, etc, etc to many variables to really narrow it down. Could be there isn't a problem at all.

For the OP to say they are identical, (I believe this to be all but impossible) is a big stretch. If they were both 110% stock cars, then yea we could be looking at an issue, but both with heavy modifications, there is no way in telling.

Although you could be correct as well, could be the start of a faulty pump, bad filter/etc/etc. It's all guess work at this point.
