Just try it, you'll feel an immediate loss of torque.

A lot of turbo drag cars have open DP, no need for back pressure in a turbo engine. The turbo will give you more than enough restriction.

BUT, not worth it on a street car. The difference between 3" single exhaust and open DP is tiny. We went from 3" to 3,5" on a 700hp drag/street car a few years ago to erase that difference.

Waste of time, and your car will sound like an srt4 (no offense). The only benifit ive seen cutting the exhaust loose is on stock turbo cars, i would just run an exhaust system, running open wastegate is where the power is to be gained not having a $35,000 car sounding like a fart can

I drove open downpipe to my exhaust shop to get pipes fabbed up. It was wayyyy to loud for me - and I run a mufflerless system now

I have a QTP 3" cutout, be cautious though because the opening itself is like 2.5 inches..........

also there is a noticeable difference in power when the cut-out is closed (love the way it sounds open at idle, like a V8 )

Down low it feels stronger with cutout closed, with it open it pulls harder up high.............

I would say no to the open dp but I do run an open wastegate I think that is where the power is found not the dp because u need some back pressure.
your back pressure is at the turbo, run open down pipe. I did with my old 60 trim on a stock motor and im doing so with my built motor and 6262sp. open dump tube or tubes is a given!!!

The sound isnt so bad. IMO the fumes that seep into the car at traffic lights are worse.

I dont really understand the purpose of all that noise for what maybe 5 hp? im not ragging on anybody for wanting that but to daily drive your beautiful, not to mention rare s2000 around sounding like a some 16 year old with a coffee can muffler?

I run 3.5" aluminum straight pipiing all the way back with a greddy trust muffler, and it is LOUD, i cant imagine driving around with the muffler blasting out at your feet. My personal opinion :-)
