Default Ordered engine parts for my turbo setup

My current turbo setup is listed below. The new parts I am having installed right now are CP Pistons 8.8:1, SuperTech Spring Retainers and Dual ValveSprings, and ARP HeadStuds. I plan on running 2 boost settings, one at 9-10psi on 91 and 14psi on race fuel. What do you guys think about the setup and boost levels?

My first trial run before my new engine parts were 302whp on 7psi on a DynoJet. I wonder what numbers I will see with higher boost. What do you think.

Thanks

I would do 9:1 pistons maybe to give you a lil more on bottom end.. and also get your block sleeved

8.8:1 is not much different from 9:1 right. Also, my budget is currently low due to the $17,000+ I have spent in the last few months so I don't plan on getting my block sleeved right now. Do you think with proper tuning that my motor should be able to handle 14psi on race fuel?

i second the lag part. if you had a bit more compression it would be more bareable though consider that

So you're running new pistons on stock sleeves?

Make sure you tell CP that you're using FRM sleeves so they can give you those nice soft pistons.

What you are doing is a waste of time and money. Go the headgasket route if you're that short on cash and use the ARP studs. The money is better spent on engine management and tunning. Ditch the greddy and goto a tuner that actually knows what the hell they're doing...not just some AEM certified BS but someone with extensive experience.

14psi at 8.8:1 compression is a waste of race gas. You can run that psi on regular pump 91.

I don't mind spending the cash on pistons to lower the compression properly and I already have the AEM EMS and having more tuning done. I just need to slow down on my spending on the S for a while and doing the sleeves is not cheap. So are you saying that going with new pistons is not better than going the different headgasket route? Also, are you sure about going 14psi on 91 safely with my setup?

And I think you guys mis read my mods. I am running a T3/T4. Not a PT72 .

Thanks

You're wasting money on pistons that are soft enough for FRM sleeves. You're basically buying OEM pistons all over again. Get the block sleeved and then order more straight aluminum composition in your pistons which would be significantly stronger than OEM.

14psi, 91 octane, 8.8:1 is ok.
