Thumbs down P-FAB Turbo kit...

Hello everyone... I am going turbo in about a month and a half now and am pretty sure I will go with the inline pro kit... but I have looked at some of the stuff P-Fab makes and it looks very nice and the pricing is good too!... anyone have any advice or experience with P-Fab? If you have something to say POST IT I want to hear it all... the good the bad and the ugly!

Thanks

Are you referring to this manifold: http://www.pfabrications.com/inc/sdetail/618 ?

It looks like a nice equal length design. The only issue I could see would be heat, and the placement of the waste gate.

i like the design of that mani.

I was out in my garage earlier today and i have my batter and fuse box all out of the car(and the motor) and i noticed that if i relocated the batter and the fuse box that there would be a TON of room right there for a turbo to sit and a tubular manifold could be made to put it there. the only problem i was seeing was where I would route the downpipe.

It looks like there manifold is made kinda how i was thinking but still tucks it up close to the block so the downpipe can clear easily.

yes exactly... the pic is of the kit using the log style manifold but I would go with the equal length upgrade... I would relocate my fuse box as I have already relocated my battery so hopefully heat would not be an issue... I have my hood vented so that should help dissapate the heat...

i carry pfab manifolds for s2ks.... i got my top mount equal length a couple months back and had them change the position of the wastegate this is my shop car and i can say that these manifolds are excelent quality but they are made when they are ordered so do expect at least 4 weeks befpre it arrives at your door

note* when you remove the battery to the rear and rotate the fuse box 90" againts the fender you have all kinds of room for this manifold... wish i had pics on this computor....
