Default P0420 code and track days

I am running a Vortech V3 with a aftermarket cat (see rest of my setup in my signature) and ever since the cat install, I have been gettin a P0420 check engine light.

Something about the catalytic converter not operating within threshhold, if I remember correctly.

I have an HPDE scheduled for next Monday and I tried asking my tuner and mechanic about it but they aren't available.

The car seems to be running just fine but can I do damage if I run at track speeds with this CEL?

ANY insight would be greatly appreciated as I really want to run this last HPDE before the car goes into hibernation!

I would say yes that you should be fine but I don't have any evidence to prove that you would be ok. I have run on the track many times with cels as long as they aren't engine code specifically then I wouldn't worry about it to much.

Just to be sure you should uninstall your cat and be sure the catalisyt materal hasnt come loose. Mine rotated inside the cansiter and blocked exhaust blow. I ignored the p0420 code and bad things happened under boost as you can imagine.
