yeah i did. use a regular filter on it to get more threads on there. i had mine come off while driving and it gave me a heart attack along with a nice 1 hour stay on the side of the road waiting for a friend to bring a new filter and 5 qts of oil

The part number for the filter that comes with the kit is ox-02. On the back of the filter box, it shows that filter is for a 1jz or a 2jz.

I got the K&N HP-1002 which is for 2jzs and it went right on without a problem... all threads caught.

No issues here. I have Casey's old kit. Almost 2500 miles on my first filter.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble... My PCX filter seemed to fit fine using the Greddy relocation kit.

FWIW - the Atlanta S2000 club refuses to allow S2K's on tracks without the Honda PCX filter. They believe that other filters don't flow adequately in VTEC and can leak or fail. If running another filter, they ask for some sort of filter retention mechanism to prevent it from blowing off.

No problem. I mean it was right there on the box... I'm not going to give out incorrect info.
