Performance loss from re-circ?

So it's known that turbos like open exhausts and the less back pressure the better. So is a recirculated waste gate adding gasses which make more back pressure?

Just wondering if it has been documented that a re circ. WG actually hurt #'s or would it be negligible.

If it changes the pressure seen in the exhaust, yes it will have an effect on power.

It could be minimal, or it could be a decent amount. It all depends on how efficient the exhaust/gates flow.
