OP... you dont have to change the internals... folks are running 500+ on stock internals but they do have a HG mod...

there are def great kits out there.. its your choice how far you wanna go... do you wanna relocate things? do you wanna have a full bolt on kit? do you need to pass emmissions?

the kit i told you about through PM would def work with EMU..maybe with FIC too but i never experienced it so i dont know..

You just haev to find a great tuner... greddy kit is a good kit for that bolt on, tune to around 300 or so, but i dont like internal WG turbo's... had them, went external wg... will NEVER look back..

these are things you gotta consider...

You may not have to have a clutch. Stay at around 10 psi with any kit and you want have to make any internal engine mods. Joey makes over 250 ft lbs of torque on his greddy and I think is still on his stock clutch. I am also on my stock clutch, but only made 210 ft lbs of torque on my first tune.

Just research all of these kits you are interested in. You aren't going to learn everything about them by this one thread.

For those of you running inline turbo kit, and putting up insane numbers for low amounts of boost, what dyno did you run on? Cause 340 whp at 7 pounds of boost with supposedly stock internals is a little high. Same with 10psi at 370 whp. What turbo are you guys using? what manifold?

If I decide to go boost, I am gonna piece together a kit, probably a Pfab mani (ELT if I can afford it) and something like a GT3076, AEM EMS, 1000cc injectors, and tune low for around 350-370whp.

Hey, I am doing something very similair, however if your goal is sub 400RWHP you don't need the ELT from PFAB, their LOG is more then enough to get you 450RWHP (AndyFloyd) has a VERY nice setup and he is running that log. If your going with 1000cc Injecters, go with Injector Dynamics, also 1000cc might be a little overkill for your goals, but better to go overboard then be like me and wish you went big the first time around

I would love to do that too Josh, but NC ispections are going to be a bitch for you. The AEM EMS, isn't OBD2 compliant, so you won't be able to pass inspections. That sucks too, because I really wanted to go EMS, but no way am I going to uninstall enough to pass inspections and then put it all back again!

^I know that every county doesn't do emissions, but (someone correct me if I am wrong), the whole state uses the OBD2 port to check the ECU for codes and problems. The OBD2 port doesn't work with the AEM EMS, so they couldn't plug their scanner into it for an inspection, so your car would fail. From what a lot of people say, NC is on of the toughest states to pass inspections (beside Cali of course, which is on a whole nother level).
