Default phantom supercharger?

im curious if anyone ever installed one of these on s2k?
i was looking into this few years ago when all the hooplah was goin on about ebay electric superchargers
and found this dude that designed the turbine and motor and then made few kits on order limited run mostly for scion tc owners.
to put it simply its a massive brushless motor+custom turbine +24v or higher battery pack
itsa full throttle supercharger that seems to produce 5psi and taper off to about 2-3psi at redline on scion engine.
probably not gonna be effective to increase peak HP but if it means more low end torque i would consider it on s2k
before discarding it please click on few links and read about it . this is not the stupid looking fan from ebay. there are dynos to show how it works and what power it makes with and without...
it seems like a legit option and 7 years later im sure we can make our own version of it. to be fitted better for this car

May as well just run a procharger i8 and be done with it. It's a variable gear S/C so has all the benefits of this and a turbo really.

It's a bit of a meme but some car manufacturers are now actually employing it to reduce turbo lag.. enough said.

After watching the videos and seeing the dyno comparison... it looks legit, I think?

It's a $2000 investment for a solution that'll only work on the street really and if you dig deeper the guy keeps going through batteries which aren't cheap.

I'd say leave it to OEM manufacturers to work through the growing pains and development phase while they perfect it, if they ever will.

Some of them are also now running an air pump that pressurizes a small tank. The air in the tank is used to spool the turbo down in the rev range by injecting it through the hot side.
Pretty neat.

Ohh neat, that's quite damn cool! Quite funny how motivated they can be to solve most of the turbo lag problem when need arrives.

wasnt it something like volvo or saab that did it few years ago but i think that idea failed

i know this guy sold a few kits and theres a video of onramp acceleration and i belive few dynos also but i think his also failed because of the price. people didnt want to pay more than 1000 bucks for it and he kept getting offers like 700 -800 or something like that

i was thinking if the price was under 1000 bucks and/or there was a diy to make this kit it would be worth it since the f20c is pretty gutless in the low rpm. it would help with the powers before the vtec descends upon the motor and blesses it with its unicorn power and 9000 rpm shift
