looks like burns but possibly vibrant? Regardless I wouldnt call it a muffler. Doesnt do so much muffling. Had one on my SFWD racecar. Sounded like open downpipe almost lol

Rob, you are correct, it is a vibrant 5 inch race muffler, and it does absolutly nothing to quiet it down lol, but I like it loud haha

the tread on them look like this:

so i guess they were 555r's

and i made a mistake, they didn't blow... the tread came off like semi trucks do on the highway!

it was on a ~500whp civic, so when it "popped" the tread ripped out the hood release cable, smacked the headlight out, completely shattered the corner light, destroyed his windshield wiper bottle/motor... and the turbo possibly sucked in some debris!

mase and i were in the office when it happened (stage 6 was here tuning), so we heard it, then immediately we saw debris flying everywhere! chunks of corner light hit the office window, and we thought for sure the motor blew since there was water on the floor (turned out it was the windshield washer fluid).

anyways... the tire was supposedly new.. the tread had about 5-6mm's left on it... but ya! shit was crazy! its a good thing no one was standing near the dyno...
