Default fuse box relocation

Have any of you had your fan relays "ticking" after you did the relocation. I checked all the plugs and everything is plugged in. I can't figure out how to get it to stop. Any ideas?

Are you sure its the fan relay and not the boost control solenoid? I mean, did you feel and hear it actually ticking? It seems weird that it would be. May just be a bad relay if it is whats ticking.

Have not had this issue. I'd double check all your wires and make sure you have continuity across all wires or that there is not a short anywhere. If it's really just the fan relay it shouldn't be too hard to test/swap. gl.

I hear the ticking sometimes as well - not sure if it's the fan relays though.

Car runs perfect aside from that so I haven't given it much thought.

I think spoolin hit it on the head.

The boost control solendoid if not setup correctly (most tuners don't disable it below 0psi) will click when active.

Constant clicking sound. However I can barely hear mine when driving, only usually at idle.

Unplug the relay, or pull power however you have yours setup, and see if that fixes the issue.

I'm positive it's the fan relays. I've disconnected both of them and the ticking stops. The second I plug one back in the ticking begins again. I even swapped out relays to see if that would make a difference, but it doesn't.

That's what I thought at first but I never had any problems with the boost solenoid ticking (been boosted since last year, Evans tune ). I can put my finger on the relays and feel them ticking.

My car starts and runs fine at idle. Haven't driven it yet, cold weather sucks.
I want to make sure it doesn't become a problem since it is for the fans.
