Default Piecing together a turbo kit for 1/3-1/4

Since my last post just got locked because of haters hating on how cheap Im paying for this kit, I am starting another one to show that you do not have to spend 4000-8000 to buy a turbo kit.

Here is what I have so far.

T3/T04E 60 trim/.63 ar -555
Precision 600 IC 300
Ultimate racing manifold, Downpipe and WG dumptube - 355
Tial 38mm WG 150
HKS BOV and all piping, couplers, clamps 200
Pre tapped oil pan and feed and return line 100

I have yet to decide on engine management. I was going to use E-Manage, but I might go with AEM EMS if I can get it for less than 1000.

So at this point I am at 1660 and I still need a FPR/fuel pump and injectors

You will need:
Air filter
Upgraded oil jets

You should get:
EGT, oil pressure, oil temp., wideband gauges
Oil filter relocation kit
oil cooler

Not part of kit but necessary:
clutch

Im not an expert but those all seem like things left out.

You're my hero. If it wasn't such a pain in the ass to actually go through and find all this stuff singled out I'd do it myself.

I have the airfilter.

Upgraded oil jets for what?

Relocation kit for what?

Clutch I will not include in the price since that is not part of any turbo kit, although I plan on getting one.

I will be getting a boost guage and oil pressure guage.

I will only be running 8psi

00-01 cars have 2 holes per oil jet while the newer models (which you can get) has 4 to help keep things a little cooler. I suppose it isn't necessary, but wise to do.

Good luck on the build...do post pics of you build if possible. There was someone selling a used AEM EMS in the f/s forums. I would spend that extra money on the AEM so you know that you wont have any problems with the tuning process, and you know that the AEM works with our cars. This thread is better then the last one. Good luck buddy.

You'll need an oil relocation kit to run the ultimate racing manifold & downpipe.

I'm sure he's talking about picking up a used AEM EMS.

Im looking for a used EMS.

Does anyone have a picture of the UR Kit, I would like to see why I need to relocate the oil filter.

I plan on doing a full write up on the install.

I wont be installing until the first sign on snow when the car goes to sleep for the winter
