your not going to loose any hp by lowering your compression. you might loose hp at same boost level but with lower compression you can run more boost

Yes But I have a supercharger and it'll be the same boost that i had before around 11 psi. and I put down 390whp that was with the 2mm headgasket which I believe lowered the compression to 9:1, now I'm going with pistons instead and wondering if I'll loose a lot of hp with dropping it .2 cause I can get those pistons alot cheaper then the other ones.

Changing 0.2 on the ratio should be undetectable by the butt dyno. I changed my ratio by 1.0 and I don't feel it.

You should actually gain HP from using a stock headgasket with 8.8 vs a 2mm headgasket at 9.0. The thinner headgasket will give you a much better quench.
