the only issues with wiseco shelf pistons are people pushing the shelf pins too far. Wiseco specs the shelf pistons with light weight pins only good for around 550hp.

If you get a cp hot it'll break, if you get a wiseco hot.. it just gets hot and nothing happens.

Is there a good piston I can buy that has higher Compression Ratio? I would like to be in the 9-10:1 range. What CR have you guys had the best luck with. I want the ratio to be low enough so that I won'thave to worry about detonation, but high enough to where I can still get good spool time and not have to run a ton of boost.

I am the perfect example of this, ran shelf wisecos at 800 and snapped a wrist pin, gotta go for the beefier wrist pin next time, but i cant agree on the "it gets hot and nothing happens", anything that gets hot enough will fail eventually

I have always liked 11:1. Compression makes power so easy with boost

When benson does my block in feb im doing 11:1

Nice choice, they have great customer service. I went high 10 comp on my b18c gsr block was close to 500 on 93 pump without any issues before parted all out (too many close thefts on it )
