Default Please help!

Hey guys, im in need of some advice. I was getting my car tuned today and def didnt get the results I wanted, and would like some advice on what to do next.
The car has a gt28-71, cast manifold, Tial wastegate, and we are tuning with Aem FIC(which is not near as bad as I had expected). everything else is stock. We only managed 205whp at 5psi. The turbo made went well till 6000rpm the dropped off an vtec took it the rest of the way. The car would be great around town, because of the instant power and added torque and is really fun to drive, only I have really crappy numbers to show for it... How much more would I safely be able to turn up the boost, so I can get closer to the 280-300whp mark? Would it be a better idea just to move up to a GT30?Is it wise to mess with vtec or should I leave it how it is? I really want to keep the car as reliable as possible, i dont need big numbers. Thanks guys for the help, im a newb when it comes to FI.

Something else is wrong. Even with that small turbo it should have made more power. Stock cars make that.

Figure out whats wrong with the current setup before you go trying to get bigger

Post a dyno sheet and some pics and maybe we will be able to help you out more.

Per your dyno sheet you are only running 2 PSI if that is boost and not AFR.

Also looks like VTEC is not engaging to me. At 6K you should be increasing not decreasing.

Yes that is AFR, sorry just realized i cut off some of the sheet. VTEC was definatly engaging, you could hear and feel the transition very clearly..

With a log mani unless they raise the vtec point to ~7k it would have a nasty dip like that. Not sure how good that ELDA mani is supposed to flow compared to a real tubular.
