Default Please Help - KW Kit VTEC Solenoid Bolts

Hey Everyone,

So, I took the S out for a spin yesterday and when I stopped, I found out that I was leaking oil pretty bad. Took a look and can see that one, if not two of the VTEC solenoid bolts have popped out. The car is at a local shop, but he has no idea what kind of bolt to get, etc.

Does anyone know the specs of the bolts that are needed? I'm trying to find my copy of the KW instructions to see if it's listed there. Any other suggestions are always welcome!

**Updating with the picture. If you look at #1 in this PDF, I'm missing two of these bolts.

They are m6x1.0 I'm almost certain, but I don't know the length. He should be able to measure the depth of the hole and figure it out if he's even a half decent mechanic though.

I'd also have him check the two o ring gaskets to be sure they aren't damaged.

And make sure he uses a torque wrench! I don't have the spec in front of me now, but will look later when I can.

Thanks Habit. I re-read the instructions and original instructions mention tightening to 16 ft-lbs.

Right now, just trying to figure out the actual length of the bolt since the instructions don't mention that.
