Default plug and play MAP sensors now available

No more hacking up the factory wire harness to install an upgraded MAP sensor!

The standard Honda MAP sensor is capable of measuring up to 11 PSI of manifold pressure. Any cars above 11 PSI must upgrade the MAP sensor. The ScienceofSpeed 3-bar MAP sensor is a direct replacement for the factory MAP sensor allowing for accurate intake pressure measurement of up to 28 lbs.

This sensor is unique compared to other sensors in that it uses the factory MAP sensor plug and fits into the factory location. No cutting or other modifications of the factory wire harness is required.

The lab grade sensor transducer provides a reliable linear voltage response from vacuum to 28 lbs of pressure. This sensor allows good resolution for vacuum conditions allowing good idle & driveability.

This sensor is intended to be used with a stand-alone engine management system like the AEM EMS or Hondata K-Pro.

Note that 2000-05 and 2006-08 MAP sensors are different. We have in stock both models.

Cheers,
-- Chris

Hondata has had one that was PNP... its a 4 BAR MAP.

Yours still needs to be calibrated manually in the EMS, right?

This MAP is 3 BAR which allows a pressure range of vacuum to 28 psi. The 3 BAR MAP compared to a 4 BAR will offer much better resolution for cars with 28 psi or less peak manifold pressure (which would be about 99.99% of turbo/supercharged S2000s.

We include a scalar table for the MAP - easy to use.

ooooo... If you include the calibration table values, its tempting!

Sorry, red is the only color we plan to offer. It does not stick out in the engine bay in my opinion.
