He's referring to the Ricks gauges that go in the radio door. They are designed not to interfere with your radio, you don't lose any functionality. They are, however, quite expensive and require a bit of electrical know-how.
How hard was it to put the guage above the start button? What do you have to do to mount it there exactly? Is there a diy thread for that? I like that location because I never use that damn button anyway. I have seen other also flush mount it also.
I had the A pillar pods using AEM gauges, but didn't like advertising I am modded... my next set of gauges will be the PLX DM200...cut some holes in the radio door cover and put these in....
