A-Pod 's
I'm not personally a fan of the pillar pods either... functionally, yea it puts the gauges right in your face which is a good thing, but they also do block vision, especially at night, even with dimmed gauges... imho.
I prefer center of the dash, because eye-line wise they are still easily visible (unlike down at the radio door), but they don't block vision while turning like the pillar pods do...

My setup:
i am in the middle of making a 3 guage pillar pod, along with a mount to hold 2 guages where the dome light is
i have done the flush mount in audio button many=many times, i have done both uego and serial guage.
I also have done several radio door installs
but if i were to do one to my car i would just do serial guage in the audio button, everything from boost to af, oil pressure, air intake temp, water temp, and more on one guage, you can set warnings and wire an audio alert also if something goes out of specs,

I'm currently "attempting" to build a pod for 3 gauges. I just have to say...I absolutely hate working with bondo!!!!!
I'm using a 3 pillar pod off of an EG civic and have basically put my pillar under the knife and there's no going back now! I did muck up though because I had the 3 mounted nice and neat and had already done some bondo work but then realised that the two top ones were too close and I couldn't get the middle gauge in!! GUTTED!!!
I then had to crack the bondo apart and unscrew it from the pillar and start over on the top one. I can now fit it in and am doing the upper part with bondo AGAIN!!
At the mo, there are a lot of gouges and dimples that I need to fill in, but wow, what a mish! I just wish I were better with this sanding stuff! It's so tedious!! haha

i have the single pod and it fits fine.
Looks nice, just waiting for my gauge to arrive before I throw it on the car.
