Hey. Running inlinepro stage1 7psi evans tuned stock hg upgraded cooling system. Hks single 75mm test pipe. I was winding out 2nd gear and the car started popping at 6800 it was already warm i had been driving for like 30 mins and then i tried to reproduce the problem and it happened again same thing around 6800. Is it misfiring?
My car did it at 4500, but that was a leaky injector. Could be too hott of a plug and/or not gapped properly, ik most people including myself run about .28- on most turbo applications, I run ngk bkr8eix

try .30 and if it doesn't misfire then your good. 7psi is pretty low you could probably go bigger too.

The bigger the gap the better, we are not talking a blow out scenario here. Run the stock gap 0.32-34 range. Bigger gap allows for a more complete combustion at all rpms.

If they are the copper 7173's ...lose them! and get the NGK 2668/BKR8EIX
