Great job

Those two manifolds look different. Look at the runners

Are the both AP1/AP2 ?
Damn I think you are right...will have to go take a closer look!

My car is an '04 and the IM I picked up was from an AP1...I thought '00-'05 were the same
At first glance id guess it was a DBW manifold, except they don’t have a water port at the TB opening like this one. The runners are a different shape and there is no egr hook up in the back

Sure this thing is going to hook up and work? - nevermind I see that you shaved the egr/secondary injection. Strange about the runners though.

You guys had me worried, so just went out and checked....both manifolds have the same part # on the underside of runner 3 (PCX HF-1)

Although the pic does make it look like runner 4 is different, in person they do look the same. I guess the lighting in the pic and lack of the secondary injection gives the illusion of a different shape.

dissaster averted

looks really good! I too sanded and fab'd up a manifold, used the stock runners and got rid of the EGR port. Took forever but was worth it now that its all on the car. Clean engine bay! It still looks like a stock manifold when its on the car, but im sure you have people ask about it dont you?

Yea I saw your thread on the IM you fab'd up, it came out really nice!

My car hasn't seen the light of day in over a month now, so no one asking about it yet....hopefully that will change after this weekend, trying to get her back on the road soon.
