Ported IM / Fullblown TB
okay so I have used a grinding wheel, flap disk, and sawzall (LOL) to get all the stuff I want gone gone, what are you using to hand sand with grit wise? wet or dry? any help would be awesome.. I also went a bit different route with mine so I wasnt copying you
AHHH I see how you did those coolant loines... you just tapped them for screws? smart! The two coolant lines on the front of the manifold (valve cover side) do I have to keep those? I know one is a bleeder valve or something..
I opted to keep my bleeder valve (since this car is such a b*tch to bleed!), but I imagine you could do away with it if you wanted. The other line right by the bleeder valve I just cut off, tapped and plugged with a screw. I would have had this hole filled if I could have got the steel insert out, but you can't punch it in like the others (no way to get it out if you do).
Yea, the charge pipes are 2.5" I think (whatever comes with the full-race kit)
I'll probably get flamed for this....but I did the FB TB more for looks than performance. I didn't want to put all that work into customizing my intake manifold then bolt the ugly stock TB back on.
