not on decel. if I just let off the gas it won't do it. when i shift fast at higher rpms I never really let off the gas all the way. I figured it was from extra fuel in the exhaust that was unburnt because not enough air was getting in while the injectors were still firing and the heat of the exhaust was igniting it.

if that is not the case where could there be a leak?

Bumpin - I can't explain the backfire, but it might bog because when you let off the gas, you might be losing pressure, or PSI. I forget if you had a turbo or SC, so this might not apply, but you might lose your spool when you let off the gas, and then when you punch it, it needs to spool again to build some pressure. Just a guess.

Mine occasionally backfires when I shift between 8900-9200rpms. Or when I hit the 2-step at 5500.

The EMS allows you to have two rev limiters. My first rev limit is set to 5500 second at 9200 or 10.81psi. Whichever comes first.

Mine is set up to rev up to 5500 and is active if the veh is stationary or moving below a set mph. In other words it's a launch feature. You can mash the gas and it only revs to a certain point, once the veh reaches a certain speed, it will rev all the way to 9200.

Well I'm kinda upset but at least it's safe ....Final numbers 378.2 hp 219.2 tq. I was seeing 16 psi without belt slippage at 9400k!

A few things though... I think it would have gotten a little more if it were on a dynopak instead of jet
I really need new injectors too since the 650's just aren't cutting it and a hollowed cat would have been nice.

But I'm happy and it pulls VERY smooth now O sorry about the pic it's a camera phone..
