spoiled@21

Comptech SC w/AC
Spearco aftercooler radiator
stock header
custom test pipe
Comptech cat-back exhaust
Godzilla BOV
SOS 10lb. pulley
AEM EMS
RC Engineering 550cc injectors
ACT pressure plate
Toda flywheel
OEM friction disc

I hit about 8lbs right at 8900rpm. I can take it higher but i'm a wus.

My next mod might be the Comptech header.

what kinda dyno and what shop did the tune? I hit 9.2lbs with my 9# pulley at 9k. strange. there will always be discrepencies though.

the only difference in our setups power wise is the pulley. neither of us have a header but you are seeing 25 more hp. at 1psi less than me. crazy

here ya go WyattH.

^ I got it done at Knowledge Performance. Its on a dynopack. I've heard a lot of good things about Balanced Performance and I think I will go there next to get tuning done.

I also notice that your VTEC is set to 5800. Take it to 4000 and I bet you will get better numbers.

I used to hit the rev-limiter all the time. I have it set now at 9300 and I just shift at 9000.

so i guess j's header isnt that great for sc... also isnt toda 4-2-1? is comptech header the way to go with a sc being 4-1?

I think it depends on your boost. the comptech is great for the top end but a 4-2-1 will always be better for torque and midrange power. I am getting the J's just becuase of the diameter of the tubes.

J's are GREAT for midrange for the big pipes as you can see on my dyno... if you want overall better numbers, the toda or the comptech (both 4-1 designs) will be a better choice to go for straight flow air... also a single exhaust seems like a much better way to go since its less restricted... i wonder what my 0-60 time is? i will be adding the MSD ignition system soon so i will post numbers after that... dunno if the guy didn't kno how to drive yesterday but i hung 2 cars ahead of a brand new z06 on the fwy from 50-120... very very fun!
