Default post your fuel setups!

i want to see what power you guys are making, and what your fuel system consists of? if you could please list your mod list, type of fuel used, and what your fuel system consists of, i would really appreciate it!

I am basically looking to see what is needed to make 500whp, and i have two options..

have a 91oct tune (which is very limited to power output with the stock headgasket, i do not want to run meth inj) and have a race fuel tune for high boost and hopfully hit 500whp with a single walbro, and 1000cc injectors, and all other components left stock

or run strickly E85, and run a inline 044 and a fuel pressure regulator added to the walbro/1000cc combo.

just looking to see what route i should take, because the mods needed vary between the two fuel types.

turbo setup is going to be a custom prototype EL topmount Peakboost kit w/ a Borg Warner S362 or GT35R (which will be sold to the public shortly, and i am going to start a build thread so everyone can see what Ken Peak will be offering to the community)

please any insight or info would be great

Why not meth injection or water/meth? Thats the most practical way to get you what you want. I think overall its misunderstood, but is starting to become more common in the S community it seems, but this tech has been around since the 40's and serves its purpose very well. Anything that's not completely understood though does create hesitation and fears.

i have done the meth injection before, and had issues with the pump sustaining pressure, injectors clogging, the whole nine, and would like to stay away from it

I second that! I've heard too many horror stories on them and not just the stories on this board. My friend and tuner even said to stay away from it.

E85 all the way!

My tuner said to stay away from them as well. I even had the problem that most turners refer too. E-85 kit on the way.

I run 93 octane and hit 470hp with stock headgasket, Walbro 255, 1000cc ID injectors, and yes...meth injection. Tuner said that I could have pushed 550+ with my setup but this was a very conservative tune. You should have no prob getting over 400 with your setup.
